Brightstar Capital Partners-backed Bendon acquired School Zone Publishing Company, a family-owned publisher of K-6 workbooks, flash cards, and learning sets.
Founded in 1979, School Zone sells through Amazon, Costco, Walmart, and Target, complemented by Anywhere Teacher, a subscription-based digital learning platform offering teachers and families access to thousands of curriculum-aligned resources.
“School Zone has spent decades building a trusted name in children’s education, and we’re honored to carry that legacy forward,” said Ben Ferguson, CEO of Bendon.
The combination provides Bendon an entry into the educational publishing market and the opportunity to expand School Zone’s products through its distribution network.
