Leica Biosystems acquires StatLab Medical Products

StatLab Medical Products, a developer of anatomical pathology consumables for histology labs, is being acquired by Leica Biosystems from its private equity sponsors Audax Private Equity and Linden Capital Partners.
For more than 50 years, the company has supplied products spanning the histology workflow from specimen collection and tissue processing through slide preparation and staining.
Upon closing, StatLab will be integrated as part of Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company focused on anatomic pathology and AI-enabled diagnostics.
