Advent International acquired a majority stake in NZCR Group, a physician-led clinical trials and medical research organization operating in New Zealand and Australia. The group's NZCR, CMAX, Optimal and Fusion brands provide integrated Phase I–IV clinical trial capabilities to global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research organization customers.
Existing shareholders, including Waterman Capital and clinician shareholders, are retaining a significant minority stake.
