Booz Allen Hamilton is acquiring Ultra Mission Solutions, a provider of mission-critical software, encryption, and edge-compute products to U.S. military and allied forces, from Advent International's Cobham Ultra Group for $720 million.

The deal brings 220 employees, including roughly 135 specialized engineers, across five U.S. facilities with headquarters in Austin, Texas.

"Our customers operate where failure isn't an option, and meeting that standard has always defined our work," said Mladen Brkic, president of Ultra Mission Solutions.

Ultra Mission Solutions will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Booz Allen following the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal 2027.
