HOF Consortium Closes €1 Billion Purchase of Porsche’s Rimac Stakes
The transaction transfers Porsche’s interests in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group to an investor consortium.
An HOF Capital-led consortium completed its acquisition of Porsche’s stakes in Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Group, a maker of hypercars and a group producing automotive systems, respectively. The acquired stakes were valued together at approximately €1 billion.
First announced in April, the transaction closed after regulatory clearances and other conditions were satisfied. HOF now holds 23.5% of Rimac Group, becoming its largest shareholder.
The consortium also acquired Porsche’s direct 45% stake in Bugatti Rimac; Rimac Group retains the other 55%. Rimac Group companies produce hypercars, battery and powertrain systems, electronics and stationary storage systems.
