Deutsche Private Equity acquires NTA Group from Adiuva Capital

Based in Mainz, the company generates more than EUR 60 million of revenue with about 360 employees across Germany and Luxembourg.

Mainz-based NTA Group, a provider of integrated security, communication technology and IT infrastructure solutions, is moving from Adiuva Capital to funds advised by Deutsche Private Equity through a majority-stake transaction.

The company designs, implements and operates systems covering fire detection, intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, alarm and emergency management, communications, and IT and network infrastructure.

NTA serves mainly small and medium-sized enterprises across healthcare, public authorities and operators of critical infrastructure.

It employs around 360 people at nine locations in Germany and Luxembourg and generates more than EUR 60 million in revenue.

The existing management team will retain an equity interest in the business.

MCF acted as debt advisor to Deutsche Private Equity, arranging acquisition financing and additional facilities for the buy-and-build plan.
