Uplift Investors acquires Engage fi from Falfurrias Management Partners
The technology-enabled consultancy has completed more than 2,700 engagements across advisory, technology evaluations, contract negotiations, vendor benchmarking, and managed conversion, migration, merger, and implementation services for banks and credit unions.
Engage fi, a technology-enabled consulting and advisory firm that helps banks and credit unions evaluate, select, negotiate and implement technology solutions across payments, digital banking, core banking and integrated communications, has been acquired by Uplift Investors from Falfurrias Management Partners. The transaction is Uplift’s third platform investment in its inaugural fund and its second investment organized around a professional services business model after the creation of Orion Legal MSO earlier this year.
Uplift plans to apply its professional services operating playbook and go-to-market, technology, data and AI capabilities to support the company’s growth. “Engage fi operates at the center of some of the most important technology and strategic decisions facing banks and credit unions today,” said Brad Skaf, Managing Partner at Uplift.
William Blair & Company and KeyBanc Capital Markets served as financial advisors to Uplift, and Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal counsel. Guggenheim Securities served as financial advisor to Engage fi, and K&L Gates acted as legal counsel.
