Capidea acquires majority stake in MC Emballage
Danish packaging supplier MC Emballage, founded in 1988 in Aarhus and based in Søften, gets a new majority owner as employee shareholders stay on.
Capidea has acquired a majority stake in MC Emballage A/S, one of Denmark's leading full-service suppliers of packaging solutions. Several employee shareholders, including CEO Peder Eriksen, will remain significant co-owners alongside Capidea.
MC Emballage was founded in 1988 in Aarhus and is headquartered in Søften. It offers more than 15,000 packaging products in cardboard, plastic and other materials, plus packaging machines, logistics, warehousing and advice, and serves more than 5,000 active customers in Danish business. Capidea says the partnership will focus on strengthening the organization, expanding advisory services on sustainability and packaging regulation, and pursuing new growth opportunities.
