South Street Partners buys Crystal Springs Resort

Spanning 1,400 acres in Sussex County, New Jersey, the four-season property serves leisure travelers, golfers and event planners near New York City.

Crystal Springs Resort, a 1,400-acre four-season hospitality property in Sussex County, New Jersey, has changed hands from its founding families to South Street Partners.

The families had owned and operated the resort since its inception in 1995.

Terms were not disclosed.

Located about an hour from Manhattan and near four major airports, Crystal Springs Resort includes two luxury hotels, six championship golf courses, ten dining venues and 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The property also offers a 30,000-square-foot sports and fitness center, nine indoor and outdoor pools, full-service spas and food-and-wine programming for leisure guests, club members and event planners.

South Street Partners is a private equity real estate investment firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina.

The firm has deployed about $1.9 billion of equity and manages $3.8 billion of assets across resort, residential and commercial properties.
