Sapphire Gas Solutions adds EDGE LNG from Blue Water Energy
Adds roughly 200,000 gallons of daily modular LNG liquefaction capacity, extending a vertically integrated LNG supply chain for utility, commercial, industrial, and renewable natural gas customers.
Sapphire Gas Solutions, a distributed energy infrastructure provider backed by Antin Infrastructure Partners, added EDGE LNG, a Texas-based provider of modular and mobile LNG liquefaction, delivery and vaporization services, from affiliates of Blue Water Energy. EDGE’s skid-mounted plant design supports rapid deployment and scalable production for utility, commercial and industrial, and renewable natural gas customers in the Southern U.S. "This acquisition progresses Sapphire's strategy to be a fully integrated LNG supplier for our customers," said Sam Thigpen, CEO of Sapphire Gas Solutions.
Blue Water Energy had established EDGE as one of the first LNG distributors of its kind in the U.S.
