Caprock acquires Venturi Private Wealth with $4 billion in assets

Venturi Private Wealth, an Austin-based independent wealth management firm with approximately $4 billion in assets under management, was acquired by Caprock.
The deal adds about 30 employees, including 10 advisors, and provides Caprock with an Oklahoma City presence for the first time.
Following the close, Venturi's ultra-high-net-worth clients will continue working with their existing advisors while gaining access to Caprock's broader family office resources and private market platform.
"At Caprock, growth has never been about getting bigger for the sake of getting bigger," said Bill Gilbert, Co-CEO of Caprock.
Venturi co-founder Russ Norwood and Oklahoma City office leader Joey Sager will join Caprock as managing directors.
The combined firm, which operates under the Caprock brand, advises on roughly $17 billion in client assets, with over $8 billion invested across private markets.
