Cornell Capital closes Hancock Claims Consultants acquisition
The insurance services provider operates across 48 states through more than 1,000 field technicians.
Cornell Capital acquired Hancock Claims Consultants, an Alpharetta, Georgia-based provider of outsourced claims field services to homeowners insurance carriers. Founded in 2003, Hancock operates across 48 states through a network of more than 1,000 field technicians.
Its services include exterior and interior inspections, contents valuation and estimating. The Hancock Repair Network also provides managed repair, water mitigation, tree removal and engineering services.
Cornell plans to invest in the company’s technology, expand adjacent services and pursue add-on acquisitions. Founder and chairman Brad Hancock will remain invested.
The transaction was announced September 22.
