RealPage, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company, has acquired Cherre, a real estate data intelligence platform trusted by institutional owners and investment managers.

Cherre connects and governs fragmented property data, resolving over four billion entities and four trillion dollars in real assets globally to create a trusted foundation for AI and analytics.

The acquisition pairs Cherre's institutional portfolio intelligence with RealPage's operational property management software, which serves more than 42,000 customers and 24 million housing units worldwide.

"AI can transform real estate only if it understands real estate," said Dirk Wakeham, President and Chief Executive Officer of RealPage.

Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal counsel to RealPage; Software Equity Group and Goodwin Procter LLP advised Cherre.
