Optimum Energy adds Hussung and HMC Service
The business will keep operating under the HMC name as part of the Optimum Energy group's full-lifecycle infrastructure platform.
Hussung Mechanical Contractors and HMC Service Company, a fourth-generation family-owned mechanical contractor and service company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and piping systems, was acquired by Optimum Energy Co., a Bernhard Capital Partners portfolio company. The business serves healthcare systems, universities, manufacturers, data centers, and mission-critical facilities in Kentucky and Indiana.
The acquisition adds HMC's mechanical contracting and field service expertise to Optimum Energy's in-house execution capability across engineering, design, construction, central utility plant operations, and long-term performance optimization.
