ATC Group adds Aero Controls, Inc. to aviation MRO platform
Brings a Seattle-based FAA-certified component repair provider with three locations and commercial aviation customers into the AE Industrial Partners-backed MRO platform.
Seattle-based Aero Controls, Inc.
(ACI), an FAA-certified provider of specialized aircraft component repair and overhaul services, has been acquired by AE Industrial Partners-backed ATC Group.
ACI operates across three locations in the Pacific Northwest and serves commercial aviation customers with component repair, parts sales, consignment management and engineered solutions.
The business brings ATC Group additional in-house engineering, proprietary repair work and technical ATA chapter coverage, including avionics, electromechanical, pneumatics, transmissions, hydraulics and emergency equipment.
ACI will operate as an ATC Group business unit, with its existing team and leadership remaining in place.
“Joining forces with ATC Group is a compelling opportunity to accelerate our growth while driving long-term value for our customers and our employees,” added John Titus, Founder of ACI.
The transaction is ATC Group’s second add-on under AE Industrial Partners backing, following PAS MRO.
Terms were not disclosed; XLCS Partners acted as exclusive M&A advisor to ACI.
