Threadlock Precision acquires Service & Sales, Inc.
Adds a 30,000-square-foot Tempe precision manufacturing facility with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, Nadcap welding and ITAR certifications to the D. Shaw group-backed network.
Service & Sales, Inc., a Tempe, Arizona-based manufacturer of precision hydraulic tube assemblies for aerospace and defense customers, has been acquired by Threadlock Precision. Founded in 1970, the company supplies precision components to major defense prime contractors, with capabilities in hydraulic tube bending, machining, welding, assembly and pressure testing.
CEO Todd McDonald said SSI brings “a capability that is scarce in our industry and hard to replicate” to the D. Shaw group-backed precision manufacturing network, which serves aerospace, defense and industrial customers.
SSI president Tammy Stepanski said the transaction supports continued development while preserving the company’s focus on quality and customer relationships.
