Gordon Brothers buys Radley brand and intellectual property
Built from a 1998 Camden Market stall, the British brand sells accessible luxury handbags and accessories across watches, jewelry, eyewear and beauty gifting.
Gordon Brothers acquired the Radley brand and related intellectual property, taking ownership of a British heritage handbag and accessories name that started in London’s Camden Market.
Founded in 1998 as a stall, Radley operates in accessible luxury fashion accessories, spanning handbags, watches, jewelry, eyewear and beauty gifting.
Gordon Brothers plans an asset-light, licensing-led strategy for Radley, with investment in people, products and marketing and a focus on the U.S., U.K., Australia and Asia.
“We are thrilled to add another British icon to our global portfolio of brands,” said Tobias Nanda, Head of Brands at Gordon Brothers.
Since 2003, Gordon Brothers has invested in and partnered with fashion and lifestyle brands including Nicole Miller, LK Bennett, Rachel Zoe, Chinese Laundry, Laura Ashley, Telefunken and Broyhill.
