Audax Private Equity-backed Belmont Medical Technologies has acquired Arcos, Inc., a Missouri City, Texas-based developer of clinical decision-support software for trauma and burn resuscitation.
Founded in 2009 by Dr. George Kramer and Chris Meador, Arcos offers the Burn Navigator and BloodNav solutions, which provide massive transfusion protocol performance improvement, real-time blood-product tracking, and electronic medical record integration designed to work alongside Belmont's Rapid Infuser.
"Joining Belmont will allow us to expand the use of BloodNav in the trauma setting, with the goal of improving patient care with a very intuitive and streamlined MTP performance-improvement and transfusion-documentation tool," said Chris Meador, CEO and Co-Founder of Arcos.
The acquisition is Belmont's third add-on since Audax Private Equity invested in the company in 2017.
