Diversis Capital acquires Tideworks Technology
The Seattle-based terminal operating system software provider serves more than 130 marine and intermodal rail facilities across North America, Europe and Latin America, with over 300,000 logistics professionals relying on its platform daily.
A majority stake in Tideworks Technology Inc. has changed hands from Carrix to Diversis Capital LLC. Founded in 1999 as Carrix's technology division, Tideworks provides terminal operating system software for marine and intermodal rail facilities globally.
Carrix, which is majority owned by Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, has operated as an independent marine and intermodal terminal operator since 1949. Diversis, a Los Angeles-based software and technology-focused private equity firm, plans to invest in Tideworks' product innovation, go-to-market capabilities, and relationships with terminal operator and intermodal rail customers.
