Rocket Software acquires Geniez AI for mainframe AI agents
Adds a generative AI team focused on mainframe monitoring, incident diagnosis and natural-language workflow execution to Rocket EVA, serving more than 13,500 customers and 850 partners.
Geniez AI, a generative AI company that augments mainframe professionals with expert AI agents operating directly on the mainframe, has joined Rocket Software through an acquisition backed by Bain Capital Private Equity. Rocket Software plans to combine its mainframe expertise, global customer base and modernization portfolio with Geniez AI's technical expertise to apply AI agents that surface insights, support action and automate mission-critical workflows.
"This is about continuing to transform what is possible on the mainframe," said Milan Shetti, president and CEO of Rocket Software. Rocket Software previously acquired Vertica in May 2026, adding a high-performance analytics database and data-warehouse software business to its enterprise software portfolio.
