Xsolla acquires GamePix to build a complete platform for web and AI-created video games
GamePix runs a browser games platform with 10,000+ titles and tools for porting PC, mobile and AI-built games to the web.
Xsolla, a Los Angeles-based global commerce company, said it has acquired GamePix, a web games platform that publishes and distributes browser games worldwide. GamePix offers a catalog of more than 10,000 web titles, a community of over 4,000 developers, and a publishing solution that brings PC, mobile and AI-created video games to the browser.
Xsolla said it will add its commerce infrastructure, including payment access across 200+ geographies and 1,000+ payment methods, to GamePix's publishing and distribution services. GamePix co-founder and CEO Edouard Wawra said joining Xsolla is "a change of scale" for the company. Xsolla's President, Chris Hewish, said the combination gives studios a fast path to players on the web. ADVANT Nctm advised Xsolla on legal due diligence and transactional matters.
