Strive Capital acquires Jigsaw24
UK systems integrator Jigsaw24 has been acquired by private equity firm Strive Capital and combined with IT solutions provider Academia Group.
Private equity firm Strive Capital has acquired Jigsaw24, a UK systems integrator. The company says the deal brings Jigsaw24 together with IT solutions provider Academia Group to form one of the UK's leading independent technology solutions groups, with combined annual revenues of £350 million.
The companies say the acquisition builds on Academia Group's earlier investment in Smartdesc and its experience integrating complementary technology businesses. Academia and Jigsaw24 will initially keep operating as separate legal entities, with their existing teams, customer relationships and technology partnerships intact. Andrew Harman, owner of Strive Capital, called it a major milestone in the firm's growth strategy.
