Merit Medical acquires Solo Pace, a TAVR temporary pacing maker
Merit Medical buys the rest of Solo Pace, a Minneapolis maker of temporary pacing systems for TAVR, for about $45 million.
Merit Medical Systems, a Utah-based medical device maker listed on Nasdaq, announced it has acquired Solo Pace, Inc. Merit acquired all remaining outstanding equity of Solo Pace on October 13, 2026, after previously holding about 18% of the company and serving as its exclusive distributor.
Solo Pace makes the SOLO PACE CONTROL and SOLO PACE FUSION systems, which provide temporary pacing for transcatheter aortic valve replacement and other transcatheter heart valve procedures. Merit said the deal expands its Cardiac Therapies platform and structural heart portfolio.
Merit said the deal is projected to be slightly accretive to non-GAAP earnings in 2027. Parr Brown Gee & Loveless served as legal adviser to Merit.
