LDC-backed Stonbury acquires Thompsons Group
Thompsons Group, a Derbyshire provider of commercial tree surgery and environmental services, is acquired by LDC-backed Stonbury.
LDC-backed Stonbury, a water and environmental specialist, has acquired Thompsons Group, a Derbyshire firm that provides arboriculture and environmental services.
Thompsons Group offers commercial tree surgery, vegetation management, tree and ecology surveys, habitat creation, fencing and large-scale tree planting. LDC first invested in Stonbury in December 2022, and David Bains, partner at LDC, said the acquisition adds expertise and geographical reach in environmental services.
