Freshworks acquires Robusta, an AI incident intelligence company

Freshworks has acquired Robusta Dev Ltd., an AI-powered incident intelligence company. Robusta's platform monitors production environments, evaluates telemetry, code changes and configuration updates, and uses AI agents to determine the likely cause and scope of an incident.

Freshworks plans to integrate Robusta's capabilities into Freshservice, including business service context, configuration management database dependencies and change histories. It also plans to connect Robusta's output with FireHydrant workflows. Co-founders Natan Yellin and Arik Alon and the Robusta team will join Freshworks.

Freshworks said the combined platform could reduce alert fatigue by consolidating related alerts into single investigated incidents, while keeping human approval over changes that affect production systems.
