Fort Point Capital sells AMS Fulfillment to Stord
Boston-based Fort Point Capital completed its sale of AMS Fulfillment, a Valencia, California-based omnichannel fulfillment provider it backed since 2019, to Atlanta's Stord.
Fort Point Capital, a Boston private equity firm focused on lower middle-market services businesses, said it completed the sale of its investment in AMS Fulfillment to Stord, an Atlanta-based commerce-enablement company that provides high-volume fulfillment and e-commerce technology. Terms were not disclosed.
Fort Point invested in AMS in 2019. During the hold, the company built a national fulfillment network, invested in its warehouse management and shipping optimization technology, and added Echo Data in January 2020 and Vox Fulfillment in 2026, which brought more than 200,000 square feet in Provo, Utah. AMS was founded in 2002 in Valencia, California, and focuses on beauty and wellness brands.
AMS CEO Greg Morello said the company will continue serving customers under the Stord name, while Fort Point partner Christina Pai credited the management team with executing the growth plan. Lincoln International advised AMS and Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel.
