A & I, Inc., a Maryland-based provider of asbestos, lead, and mold abatement serving educational facilities, government buildings, multifamily housing, and industrial properties, has been acquired by EHC Associates, a PennSpring Capital-backed environmental remediation platform.
Founded in 1986, A & I has completed more than 20,000 projects across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The acquisition is EHC’s fourth add-on since PennSpring Capital acquired the company in 2021, deepening the platform’s Mid-Atlantic presence.
