Achieve Partners invests in Alchemy internship platform
Focused on U.S. talent acquisition and workforce development, the software platform helps employers run internship programs with colleges and students.
Alchemy, a U.S. internship management platform connecting employers, colleges and college students, received a platform investment from Achieve Partners.
The company provides infrastructure for internship programs, including recruitment, matching, supervision and employer-of-record services for businesses building paid, career-connected work experiences.
"Internships aren't a new idea, and they've always been one of the most powerful tools for connecting young people to real career opportunities.
But systemic operational burdens prohibit companies from keeping pace with demand," said Matt Gurney, CEO of Alchemy.
The investment moves Achieve's Workforce Fund strategy from its apprenticeship base into internships and follows the firm's $450 million Workforce II fund close.
The partnership was structured through a combination with Ease Learning, an Achieve Workforce I portfolio company.
