Searchlight Capital Partners and Abry Partners have taken KORE Group Holdings private in a $726 million transaction, moving the Atlanta-based provider of Internet of Things connectivity, managed services, location services and analytics off the New York Stock Exchange.
The transaction, first announced in February, values the company at $9.25.
The sponsors said private ownership will give KORE greater flexibility to invest in its technology and support customers deploying IoT applications globally.
