Security Fire Systems adds Industrial Electronic Systems
The deal marks the second add-on for the Security Fire Systems platform, following Lakeview Security, Fire & Communication, and adds Western U.S. fire alarm and low-voltage integration coverage.
Security Fire Systems added Industrial Electronic Systems, Inc., an engineered fire alarm and low-voltage systems integrator serving commercial, institutional, government, healthcare, aviation, education, and public-sector end markets. The company designs, engineers, installs, inspects, monitors, and maintains complex life safety and mission-critical systems, including fire alarm, voice evacuation, public address, access control, and video surveillance.
The acquisition is the second add-on for Blackford Capital's Security Fire Solutions platform, which was established with the December 2024 purchase of Security Fire Systems and added Lakeview Security, Fire & Communication in September 2025. "IES is another fine example of our disciplined buy-and-build strategy in action," said Martin Stein, founder and managing director of Blackford Capital.
