Anchor EP-backed SK Electlink agrees to buy SK Signet from SK
SK Electlink, an EV charging platform owned by Anchor Equity Partners, agrees to buy 100% of EV charger maker SK Signet from SK for up to 200 billion won.
SK signed a share purchase agreement to sell its entire 100% stake in SK Signet, its EV fast-charger manufacturing subsidiary, to SK Electlink. The price is up to 200 billion won (about $149.3 million), with 75 billion won paid at closing and up to 125 billion won contingent on SK Signet's performance in 2028-2029.
SK previously ran two tender offers, securing up to 97.6% of SK Signet, and plans to buy the remaining 2.2% in cash at 8,200 won per share so SK Signet becomes wholly owned before the sale closes. SK Electlink plans to absorb and merge SK Signet after completion.
SK Electlink was acquired from SK Networks last year by Anchor Equity Partners, which aims to combine charger manufacturing and charging-station operations.
