Impel Company adds Haynes Equipment Company in Midwest

Based in Olathe, Kansas, Haynes serves municipal, residential and commercial water/wastewater markets across Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Nebraska.

Backed by Pike Street Capital, Impel Company made an investment in Olathe, Kansas-based Haynes Equipment Company, a provider of water and wastewater flow control equipment, systems and services.

Haynes serves municipalities, residential developments and commercial applications across Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Nebraska.

The company has operated for 65 years and works with manufacturers to supply clean water and wastewater equipment, systems and support.

Impel was formed in 2021 around Pike Street Capital's acquisition of PumpTech and now comprises nearly 15 fluid-management companies.

“This acquisition is an excellent addition and a clear reflection of the buy-and-build strategy we envisioned for Impel from the start,” said Dave Dandel, Partner at Pike Street Capital.
