Platte River-Backed TIPCO Acquires MTS and AZ Hose PRO
The two purchases add threaded industrial products in Texas and mobile hydraulic repair in Arizona, bringing TIPCO to ten add-ons under Platte River.
TIPCO Technologies, a Platte River Equity portfolio company, acquired MTS Threaded Products and AZ Hose PRO, two founder-owned industrial products and services businesses. Founded in 1982, MTS is based in Corpus Christi, Texas, and supplies industrial, energy and oilfield customers with fasteners, petroleum-related hardware and custom threaded and machined components.
It also provides vendor-managed inventory services. Phoenix-based AZ Hose PRO offers round-the-clock mobile service for hydraulic hoses, cylinders and pumps.
The purchases bring TIPCO to ten add-on acquisitions since its December 2023 partnership with Platte River, adding capabilities in sealing products and on-site hydraulic repair.
