Third-party risk management teams and threat hunters are gaining a more powerful detection lens as SecurityScorecard integrates Driftnet's internet scanning engine into its TITAN AI platform.

The deal, announced Thursday, brings Driftnet's proprietary technology for non-standard port enumeration, advanced infrastructure fingerprinting, and IPv6 visibility directly into SecurityScorecard's workflows, enabling users to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigured assets tied to AI agents, connected supply chain tools, and internet-facing infrastructure.

Driftnet's scanning engine probes ports and protocols that conventional vulnerability scanners often ignore, mapping the attack surfaces of third-party vendors in granular detail.

The company's fingerprinting capabilities uncover exposures that are invisible to standard port lists, helping security operations centers and threat intelligence teams detect threats earlier in the kill chain.

SecurityScorecard, headquartered in New York, runs a threat-informed third-party risk management business backed by Evolution Equity Partners, Silver Lake Partners, Sequoia Capital, Google Ventures, and Riverwood Capital.

Its TITAN AI platform already provides continuous monitoring of thousands of vendors, and the addition of Driftnet extends that monitoring to previously overlooked internet-facing assets.

The acquisition arrives as companies are rapidly adopting AI-driven tools that expand the digital supply chain and create new cyber risk surfaces.

The combined capability provides a single pane of glass for threat-informed third-party risk management.
