Goldman Sachs-backed Xpress Wellness added a behavioral health practice focused on older adults in long-term care settings with the acquisition of Midwest Counseling in Wichita, Kansas.

The deal gives the rural and suburban healthcare platform an on-site mental health provider for senior living communities, deepening its behavioral health capabilities in the region.

Founded in 2022, Midwest Counseling provides talk therapy and individual counseling to residents in nursing homes and senior communities, partnering with facility care teams.

The practice will maintain its Wichita-based identity and patient experience, with no changes to services.

Founder Lisa Harrison has joined Xpress Wellness as Director of Operations of Post-Acute, overseeing the Kansas market while continuing to provide patient care.

Xpress Wellness operates urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, behavioral health, and post-acute services across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas—where it runs under the Integrity Urgent Care brand.

The acquisition positions the platform to expand behavioral health support into additional communities across Kansas, using its operational infrastructure to scale the long-term care counseling model.
