Shur-Co adds Heavy Motions

Heavy Motions Inc., a global supplier of hydraulic systems and motion products, has been acquired by Shur-Co, LLC, a portfolio company of Behrman Capital. Based in Ontario, California, the target serves customers in trucking, construction, agriculture, waste, oil and gas, and industrial equipment.

The acquisition extends Shurco’s cargo covering and containment offering into complementary hydraulics, strengthening its presence in the construction and waste sectors. “Joining the Shurco family gives us the resources to grow while preserving the expertise, responsiveness, and service our customers depend on,” Heavy Motions Co-Founder and Co-CEO Dean Ding said.

Behrman Capital recently completed a single-asset continuation fund for Shurco, signaling continued investment in the platform.
