Northrim Horizon acquires Cressy Door and Fireplace
A permanent-hold model underpins the transaction, with plans to broaden the customer base and geographic presence while retaining talent and service quality amid industry consolidation.
Cressy Door and Fireplace, a Seattle-based provider founded in 1952 that offers installation, repair, and maintenance services for overhead doors, pedestrian doors, and fireplaces to commercial and residential customers, has been acquired by Northrim Horizon, an Arizona-based permanent capital investment firm. Northrim has appointed Brendon Cagney as CEO and Connor Witters as President; Witters has served at Cressy for more than eighteen years in technical, sales, and leadership roles.
"Northrim is thrilled to be partnering with the Cressy team," said Brad Gulbrandsen, Managing Partner at Northrim Horizon. Northrim acquires and operates well-run, profitable service and software businesses.
