TSG Consumer agrees to acquire majority stake in Saltair
Body care brand founded by Iskra Lawrence, expected to reach about $150 million in 2026 sales; Prelude Growth Partners is exiting.
Private equity firm TSG Consumer has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Saltair, the body care brand founded by Iskra Lawrence. Financial terms were not disclosed. Saltair's sales are expected to be about $150 million for 2026.
Following the close, Lawrence will serve as chief community advocate, and Prelude Growth Partners will exit its investment. The Center, which launched Saltair with Lawrence and has Prelude's backing, will not keep a stake after the transaction.
Colin Welch, managing director and head of New York at TSG, said the firm would bring its resources and experience scaling beauty brands. Saltair CEO Rachel Shelowitz said the partnership would help the brand's growth. Saltair sells through Target, Ulta Beauty and Amazon.
