Tricentis acquires Tabnine to expand agentic quality engineering

Tricentis, a provider of agentic quality engineering software, has announced the acquisition of Tabnine, an AI coding platform built for secure, context-aware enterprise software development. Tricentis plans to integrate Tabnine's Enterprise Context Engine into its Agentic Quality Engineering Platform to strengthen the context available to its quality and testing agents.

The Enterprise Context Engine builds a continuously updated knowledge graph of an organization's systems, drawing on repositories, documentation, tickets, APIs and infrastructure metadata. Tricentis CEO Kevin Thompson said enterprise quality engineering is a context problem, and Tabnine CEO and founder Dror Weiss said AI agents need to understand the systems they operate in before they act.
