Flex has agreed to acquire EPC Power, a manufacturer of power-conversion equipment for data centers, energy storage, and microgrids, for $4.4 billion. The transaction is an exit for controlling shareholders Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Cleanhill Partners.

EPC Power will join Flex’s Cloud and Power Infrastructure business, adding grid-forming technology and equipment used in data center power systems. Flex expects the acquisition to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

Citi and Bank of America are providing committed financing.
