Hubbell buys electrical products maker NSI
The $3 billion cash transaction adds electrical fittings, connectors, components and wire-management products for industrial, infrastructure and commercial end markets.
Hubbell agreed to acquire NSI Industries, a provider of electrical fittings, connectors, components and wire-management products, from Sentinel Capital Partners for $3.0 billion in cash, subject to customary adjustments.
The business serves industrial, infrastructure and commercial end markets, with about $570 million of expected 2026 revenue.
Hubbell plans to fund the transaction with cash on hand and debt, with the purchase price representing about 15.5x anticipated 2026 EBITDA.
Hubbell expects the acquisition to be accretive to Hubbell and Hubbell Electrical Solutions adjusted operating margins and to adjusted EPS in 2026.
Sentinel had owned NSI for less than two years before the sale.
