King Street Capital Management-backed AMSURG Corporation has acquired five gastroenterology ambulatory surgery centers in North Carolina, adding locations in Wake Forest, Cary, Raleigh, Clayton and Wilson.
The centers offer diagnostic and therapeutic care including colonoscopy, endoscopy and small bowel capsule imaging.

The five centers are currently open and accepting patients, and each will continue operating while benefiting from AMSURG's operational expertise, clinical resources and growth support.
