Deutsche Private Equity buys majority stake in NTA Group

With about 360 employees across nine sites in Germany and Luxembourg, the Mainz-based company generates more than EUR 60 million of revenue.

NTA Group, a Mainz-based provider of integrated security, communication technology and IT infrastructure solutions, was acquired by funds advised by Deutsche Private Equity from Adiuva Capital in a majority-stake transaction.

The company designs, implements and operates systems for fire and intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, alarm and emergency management, communications, and IT and network infrastructure.

Terms were not disclosed.

NTA serves SMEs across sectors, including healthcare providers, public authorities and critical-infrastructure operators.

The group has around 360 employees at nine locations in Germany and Luxembourg and generates more than EUR 60 million in revenue.

Management will retain an equity interest, while Deutsche Private Equity plans to support organic growth, broader service and managed-services offerings, and a buy-and-build program.

MCF arranged acquisition financing and additional acquisition facilities for the transaction.
