Onex Partners-backed Fidelity Building Services Group has acquired MVH Industrial, a Georgetown, Kentucky-based provider of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general contracting services for commercial and industrial clients.

The transaction closed April 13, with Generational Capital Markets advising the seller.

MVH Industrial specializes in turn-key complex projects, including HVAC and mechanical system design and installation, industrial piping, building automation, custom sheet metal fabrication, medium voltage electrical work, and energy management systems.

Its project capabilities range from paint booth and furnace installations to industrial machinery upgrades and facility relocations.

Fidelity Building Services Group, headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, operates one of the nation's largest platforms for HVAC and mechanical services, building automation, emergency power, and energy solutions.

Backed by Onex Partners, the company has more than 75 locations and approximately 3,200 team members, serving commercial, industrial, mission-critical, government, education, and healthcare markets since its founding in 1945.

Dave Lanphar, CEO of Fidelity, said MVH Industrial’s reputation for complex project execution and deep customer relationships makes it an ideal partner as the platform extends into new geographic markets.

MVH President David Walden added that joining Fidelity allows the business to expand its capabilities while maintaining its commitment to high-quality, reliable solutions for clients.

Generational Capital Markets’ M&A team, led by Brenen Hofstadter, Chris Heckert, and Troy Blakely, advised MVH Industrial on the transaction.
