GE Aerospace to Buy Consolidated Precision Products for $11.75 Billion
Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners will exit the aerospace castings manufacturer; closing is expected in the second half of 2027.
GE Aerospace has agreed to acquire Consolidated Precision Products, a Cleveland-based manufacturer of engineered castings and sub-assemblies, from Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners for $11.75 billion. CPP serves commercial aerospace and defense customers through more than 20 facilities and employs roughly 6,600 people.
GE has been a customer for more than 15 years. The purchase will be financed with $7 billion in cash and the remainder in new debt.
Closing is expected in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
