Lios bought the Richmond, B.C.-based maker of SUMM! brand Asian appetizers, with Farm Credit Canada, Bonnefield and management co-investing.
Power Sustainable Lios, the food-focused private equity platform of Power Sustainable, has acquired Fine Choice Foods, a Richmond, British Columbia manufacturer of refrigerated Asian appetizers and owner of the SUMM! brand. Terms were not disclosed.
Farm Credit Canada, Bonnefield Financial and members of Fine Choice's senior management co-invested alongside Lios, and management will remain significant partners. The deal is the fifth investment in Lios Fund I, following its acquisition of Crofter's Organic.
