Palmdale Propane acquires Affordable Gas

Palmdale Propane, a subsidiary of family-owned Palmdale Oil, has acquired Affordable Gas, a locally owned propane provider based in Belle Glade, Florida. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Affordable Gas provides propane delivery, cylinder exchange and related services to residential, commercial and agricultural customers in Belle Glade and the surrounding Glades area. Palmdale says the deal strengthens its presence in the region.

Palmdale CEO Lachlan Cheatham said Affordable Gas expands the company's commercial and residential propane presence in South Florida. Affordable Gas president Rolando Calvo said the business will gain resources and operational expertise to serve its customers.
