Marsh acquires Triton Insurance Agency

Marsh said it has acquired Triton Insurance Agency, LLC, a Newport, Rhode Island-based agency focused on marine and yacht insurance. Terms were not disclosed. Triton, founded in 2011, serves high-net-worth individuals with a focus on yacht, hull and other marine coverage.
Triton will become part of Marsh Agency. CEO Bob Peck and the rest of the agency's team will join Marsh Agency and continue operating from their current Newport office. Pete Walther, president and CEO of Marsh Agency's Private Client Services division, said Triton strengthens Marsh's presence in key coastal markets.
