Labcorp agrees to buy Millennium Health in toxicology testing deal

Labcorp and Millennium Health, an accredited specialty laboratory with more than 15 years of experience in drug testing and surveillance, said they have signed a definitive agreement for Labcorp to acquire Millennium Health. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Millennium Health provides information on patients' recent use of prescription and illicit drugs to help clinicians monitor and treat patients with chronic pain, substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Labcorp said it plans to combine its test menu, patient service center network and digital ordering and result tools with Millennium's toxicology capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advised Labcorp and Blank Rome advised Millennium Health.
