Greenbrier-backed AIT Worldwide acquires Australian forwarder Connor Anderson International
Connor Anderson International is an Australian freight forwarder with facilities in Sydney and Melbourne and a large base of technology clients in Australia and New Zealand.
AIT Worldwide Logistics, the Chicago-based freight forwarder, said late on Sunday, November 1, 2026 that it has acquired Connor Anderson International, an Australian forwarder that handles air, ocean and road transport, customs clearance and project cargo. The company operates facilities in Sydney and Melbourne.
AIT said the deal gives it a significant presence in Oceania and lets it serve data center and artificial intelligence hardware customers in the region, as well as aerospace and automotive clients. Ray Fennelly, AIT's chief development officer, said the acquisition is the foundation for long-term expansion in Oceania. Terms were not disclosed. Greenbrier Equity Group bought a majority stake in AIT from The Jordan Company and AIT management in February 2026.
